We offer instruction in Classical French Fencing in all three weapons: Foil, Epee and Sabre, for the beginner as well as the experienced fencer.
All students must PRE-REGISTER for classes. Please register online
BEGINNER:

DESCRIPTION:
This class is an introduction to the Art of Classical Foil Fencing. Students will learn how to move, defend, and attack using the basic fencing weapon - the foil - in the Classical French style.
It is a relaxed workout coupled with exposure to the historical origins of this exciting martial art. Great for developing physical agility and mental focus, fencing is also FUN!
Fencing develops better eye-hand coordination, physical agility, grace, and balance, while promoting cardiovascular fitness and increased confidence and self-esteem.
All equipment and instruction provided. Please wear sneakers and comfortable clothing for this class.

SUMMER CLASSES:Ages 10-Adult -
$150 per quarter OR $60 per month - Prior experience necessary, equipment provided.
DESCRIPTION:
This class is for FCB Beginner class graduates ONLY. Students must be graduates of a Beginner Class/Camp, and have permission of the instructor. This class will pick up where Beginner Training left off . . . Skills will include: Compound Attacks, Attacks on the Blade, and more advanced footwork. Students will be fencing, judging and directing from Day 1.
OPEN fencers must be graduates of the INTERMEDIATE group and have permission of instructor.
Advanced Fencers, Ages 10-13
Open to fencers ages 10-13, who are graduates of an FCB INTERMEDIATE class
Saturdays 10:00-11:30 AM
$150 per QUARTER (or $60 per MONTH) - Equipment provided.

DESCRIPTION:
This class is an introduction to the Art of Classical Foil Fencing, designed for KIDS ages 7-9. Young fencers will learn how to move, defend, and attack using a practice safety sword - in the Classical French style.
Kids in this class will be learning correct fencing form, developing appropriate fencing skills and cultivating courtesy and respect for others, as well as learning about the historical origins of this exciting sport. Great for developing physical agility and mental focus, fencing is also FUN!
